In studying the book of Ezekiel, it became necessary to take a detailed look at the timing and events of Israel's exiles into Babylon. In Ezekiel 12:12, for example, there seems to be a clear illustration of what would happen to Zedekiah:
"And the prince that is among them shall bear upon his shoulder in the twilight, and shall go forth: they shall dig through the wall to carry out thereby: he shall cover his face, that he see not the ground with his eyes."
A closer study of those events help us to see what is being talked about in this passage. For that reason, I have made a chart that compares the records of the exiles from 2 Kings, 2 Chronicles, and Jeremiah. Comparing these records gives us a very clear understanding of the events that took place.
