2019 Focus on Evangelism Conference
This conference is designed to help believers gain confidence in presenting the Gospel to others. This year we will be going step by step through a recommended plan of presenting the Gospel (We will try to cover everything, from the time the soul-winner leaves the church to go soul-winning to our follow-up procedures for beginning the discipleship process of new converts).
We plan to video record all the lessons and make them available online for anyone who wants to reference them later.
Each night we will start at 6:30 with refreshments and a time of fellowship, and we will begin the lessons at 7pm (dismissal will be around 9pm)
Note that Thursday's session will take place in Overland Park at our KC Mission work. Wednesday and Friday will be in Iola at the church house.
Saturday will be our "Soul-Winning Marathon" where we will divide up into groups and will be covering various towns that surround Iola. We will serve lunch at 11:30am and begin sending out groups at noon. At 5pm we will meet up to hear testimonies and find out the results of the day.
Sunday will be our "Friend Day" where we hope to have many visitors and baptisms.
