Now held on Thursdays at 7pm as part of our KC Mission work. Check out the addictedtoministry.com webpage for more information. |
We want to use every resource we can to help train future workers and leaders in the church. Of course, being equipped for effective ministry isn't something that happens overnight, but it is something that requires diligence, patience, and hard work! So, we are using our Thursday night "mid-week" services in Kansas City (location of our meeting place is posted on our KC Mission page) to provide an opportunity for training in a local church setting.
Following are some examples of the training we provide:
Following are some examples of the training we provide:
"Soul-winning" training
This is one the primary focuses of our ministry. We want everyone to learn and to be able to, in some way, take part in spreading the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. We provide one-on-one training with experienced soul-winners as well as seminars and resources for furthering your studies in this area.

"Practice preaching"
We believe in the primacy of preaching. That is, we believe that preaching is of the utmost importance; not only for the spreading of the Gospel, but also for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness.
We want to raise up another generation of men who will be able to handle the Word of God and to boldly proclaim It from behind the pulpits of our churches!
Note: Before being allowed to preach in front of the church in this manner, there are a few requirements you must meet:

"Music Ministry"
We teach traditional song-leading techniques and direct songs from the hymnal. It is our desire that everyone at our church gains a basic understanding of music and singing in order to sing our best for the Lord.
We also want to encourage people that play instruments, are learning to play, or have an interest in learning, to use that skill for the Lord when possible.
Finally, we want to make sure everyone is (basically) on the same page when it comes to our philosophy of music.
